Our school began as a Montessori School in 1988. We grew rapidly, adding high school within a few years. This website is devoted to our high school program and operates as an "independent study," much like similar programs work in graduate schools. Because of our success with students of varying abilities, interests, and needs, we have expanded quite rapidly. Our students do their work at home, including their testing. Most of our students are home schooling families, who can use part or all of our curriculum and records keeping. We also serve private schools, for occasional testing or complete organization. Adult students who lack a high school diploma or simply want additional education can enroll themselves.

Home-schooling families find our program especially valuable, because the high school range of grades is the hardest for families to manage. For these students, we do the "hard parts": curriculum design, textbook selection, grading, and records-keeping. Parents do the rest: monitoring their children's progress and being a source of encouragement. These families can, of course, pick and choose which parts of our offerings they wish to use.

Thanks to steady growth our enrollment capacity has reached its limit, so we are currently expanding our server capacity and upgrading our software. That work will be finished this summer, but we don't yet know exactly when. You should check back here occasionally to see if this information is updated; or you can contact us from our home page.
